Troop 27 Canton, NY is a locally chartered unit of the Boy Scouts of America and is part of the Northern Lights District of the Hiawatha Seaway Council.
Boy Scout Troop 27 was established in 1931 and has been sponsored by St. Lawrence Lodge 111 of the Free and Accepted Masons of Canton, NY for over 75 years, we are very thankful for their support.

Our Troop is a boy run unit with adult mentoring and is always striving to provide the best possible program for the young scouts we serve. Our Scouts have attended Troop Campouts, local and district Camporees, World Brotherhood Camporees, Catholic Scout Retreats, Summer Camp, National Jamborees, the World Jamboree, and Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.

We are very proud of having over 30 Eagle Scouts, and are consistently earning the National Quality Unit Award.

Troop 27 continues to provide a high quality program for boys 10 to 17 years of age and is open to all boys regardless of race, religion, creed, or national origin.
